Bare Bloom — Ingredient-Led Skincare System

Bare Bloom is a conceptual skincare brand transforming clean, ingredient-led formulations into a premium, trustworthy system that inspires confidence and clarity.

The project delivers a minimal, structured design that simplifies complex routines, highlights key ingredients, and supports confident decision-making across packaging and digital touchpoints.

The Design Challenge

Skincare brands often overwhelm users with large product ranges, complex routines, and minimal guidance. Many rely on visual aesthetics or lifestyle cues, leaving customers unsure how to navigate formulations, differentiate products, and build effective routines.

Bare Bloom was designed to solve this, creating a system rooted in clarity, restraint, and trust.

Key Objectives:

  • Minimal, premium system – communicate transparency and confidence

  • Intuitive routines – help users navigate quickly and feel reassured

  • Ingredient-led design – translate natural formulations into cohesive visuals and tactile experiences

  • Scalable framework – adaptable across packaging, digital touchpoints, and future campaigns

Design Exploration & Execution

1. User & Product Insights
Studied skincare habits, decision-making, and routines to define hierarchy, organize products and routines intuitively, and clarify user journeys. Every element was designed to reduce cognitive load, guide users through routines, and build confidence at first touch.

2. AI-Driven Ideation

  • MidJourney: concept visuals, illustrations, short motion/video explorations

  • DALL·E 3: moodboards, color palettes, and branding experiments

  • Photoshop AI: refinement for consistency, polish, and production-ready quality

  • ChatGPT: packaging copy, website language, and messaging consistency

AI accelerated early-stage ideation, allowing rapid testing of multiple directions while ensuring all decisions were grounded in user insights, brand goals, and product clarity.

3. Visual & Ingredient Translation

  • Structured product hierarchy and intuitive routines for effortless comprehension

  • Minimal typography and clean layouts reflecting transparency, quality, and premium perception

  • Color, material, and form choices echoing natural, high-quality ingredients

  • Flexible system designed to scale across packaging, digital platforms, and campaign touchpoints

Multi-Touchpoint Implementation

Branding & Visual Identity
A cohesive, ingredient-led identity with a clean typographic system, clear hierarchy, and restrained palette emphasizing natural formulations.

 

Packaging
Minimal, elegant packaging communicates core benefits at a glance. Detailed product information is intentionally delivered via email newsletters and inserts with shipping, reducing cognitive load while maintaining transparency and trust.

 

Digital & Motion Assets
AI-assisted animations and visual explorations showcase adaptability across campaigns, email, and social content without compromising clarity or brand hierarchy.

 

System Scalability
Flexible framework ensures consistent application across new products, campaigns, and touchpoints, supporting long-term brand coherence.

Outcome

This project demonstrates my ability to:

  • Build structured, multi-touchpoint brand systems rooted in product understanding and user behavior

  • Translate complex, ingredient-driven information into clear, trustworthy, and premium design

  • Apply AI strategically to accelerate ideation while maintaining intentional design direction

  • Ensure scalability and adaptability across physical and digital environments
